GENERAL QUESTIONS

Cox Automotive Fall Expo 2021 is a complimentary, all-virtual event featuring solutions and insights from marketplace leaders that will define a new way forward for the automotive industry. The event is open to dealers, OEMs, lenders, and fleet operators with different roles including dealer principals, general managers, general sales managers, internet sales managers, BDC directors and managers, marketing professionals, fixed operations directors, and service managers. Each attendee will have the opportunity to customize an agenda based on their area of interest.

Cox Automotive Fall Expo 2021 is 100% complimentary — all you have to do is to register.

Click ‘Login’ if you have already registered previously or ‘Register’ if this is your first time. If you are not currently logged into the site but did register, select ‘Agenda’ on the top menu, then click the ‘LOG IN’ BUTTON at the top right corner of the list of sessions. You will be prompted for the email address that you originally registered for. Then check your email inbox for a confirmation link, click link and it will automatically log you in. Note: If you do not receive the email within 15 minutes, check your junk/spam filter. If you do not locate your email, please check with your IT support to confirm whether email security settings may be delaying delivery. After taking these steps, if you do not receive an email within 15 minutes, contact CoxAutoEvents2021@coxautoinc.com for assistance.

Go to the Agenda Page, select a session you want to watch and click the ‘Watch Broadcast’ button under the session title. Note: You are required to ‘Login’ with the email address used to register for the event. Once you click ‘Login’ a new page will open asking for the email address used to register the event.

When a session ends, or if you decide to switch to a different breakout session, click the “Back” button to return to the agenda. You can then enter any other in progress or on-demand session by clicking the “Broadcast” button for that session on the agenda.

Check your email inbox to find your original confirmation email, and double check it was sent to the email you’re attempting to login with. We’ve found that the #1 problem with login is using the wrong email address. Make sure you check your spam or promotions folders to ensure it didn’t get trapped there.

It’s possible there was a spelling mistake made during registration. Please try to register again via one of the solution tracks at https://www.coxautoinc.com/fallexpo/user-summit/solution-tracks/. Then, within minutes you will receive a confirmation registration email coming from the Cox Automotive Events Team. Click the link to Agenda and will be automatically logged in. Note: If you do not receive the email within 15 minutes, check your junk/spam filter. If you do not locate your email, please check with your IT support to confirm whether email security settings may be delaying delivery. If you’re still having trouble, a live event support will be available between 9:00am – 4:00pm EST daily to assist with any technical difficulties you have. DAY OF THE EVENT

All sessions will stream directly from the Agenda page. Sessions that are broadcasting live at any given time will be featured in the top banner of the page. Select a session and click the “Broadcast” button under the session title. Broadcast will become available two minutes before the scheduled start time. When you click the “Broadcast” button, you may be prompted to login in order to join the session.

Once you click “Login” a new page will open asking for the email address used to register your ticket.

Note: The Broadcast button will go live 2 minutes before the start of each session.

The agenda includes a two-minute buffer between each set of sessions, to allow time to navigate to the next session.

Most sessions will include time for audience Q&A. To ask your questions, please post them under “Q&A” (on the right-hand side) within the session.

TECHNICAL QUESTIONS

The live event will play automatically. You should be able to view the live event without installing any additional software or do anything special. Google Chrome and Firefox are the recommended browsers for the best viewing experience, and we suggest you disable all pop-up blockers and ad blockers, as they might interfere with the session broadcasting. Here are a few more specifics:

  • Windows 7 and above, running Chrome, Firefox or Edge. Internet Explorer is not supported
  • MacOS 10.9 or later, running Chrome and Firefox. Safari not supported
  • iPhone 5S or later, running iOS 11 and up
  • Android 4.0 or later, running Chrome

To toggle between multiple outputs connected to your device (e.g. internal speakers, headphones and AirPlay), click the gear icon ⚙️ on the top right of the live-streamed session. You will then be able to select which output and input devices should be used.

The best experience will be provided on a laptop or desktop. You can use a mobile device; however, some functionalities may be limited because of the screen size. If you opt to use a mobile device, please ensure you are on strong Wi-Fi connection, as mobile phone networks are likely not going to have the required internet speed to handle video streaming.

Most up to date computers such as laptops and desktops are capable of running the virtual event for you. Use this Quick Technical Check to test the internal components of your computer to ensure you can access the sessions.

POST EVENT QUESTIONS

At the end of the event, you will be provided with information on how to access the post-event materials.

Yes, you can register for on-demand access. Simply register as if you are attending the event and a confirmation email will be sent to you. Then, you can sign on using the email address you used to register and access all of the sessions on-demand after the event has occurred.

Recordings will be available until November 1st 2021.
