Reigning Indy 500 Champ Takuma Sato Drives Dickinson Fleet IndyCar

In 2016, Dickinson Fleet Services become the Official Service Provider and Fleet Management Company for Andretti Autosport. It has been a true partnership since the beginning and we’ve been very fortunate to work with such a great company. A huge milestone for both of us took place recently at the 2017 Verizon IndyCar season finale at Sonoma Raceway, as reigning Indy 500 Champion Takuma Sato’s Honda sported the Dickinson black and gold on his race car. And what a great, monumental event it was.

As car #26 raced around the track, the Dickinson Fleet team couldn’t have been more proud of all we’ve accomplished as a team. While not everyone was on hand, all of our employees were represented by the DFS black and gold colors zooming around the track on this great day. The opportunity to have our logo on this IndyCar speaks volumes about the technicians and employees at our organization because we wouldn’t be able to do it if it weren’t for the tremendous job they do. The folks at Andretti Autosport continued to tell us that when they were looking for a trusted partner to take care of their equipment, Dickinson Fleet Services continued to come up at the top.

Trust is at the very foundation of everything we do for the great crew at Andretti Autosport. You can be the fastest car in the world, but if you’re not going to finish races it doesn’t matter. In other words, speed is important but reliability is a necessity. With the Andretti team having 14 trucks on the road transporting race cars and equipment to different destinations, our goal was to provide them with a single solution to all maintenance and repair needs.

Having recently extended our multi-year partnership the Andretti Autosport team, we know there will be many great memories like this one to come.
