Dickinson Fleet Donates to Hurricane Irma Relief Efforts in Florida

With Hurricane Harvey, Irma and the fires, many people throughout our nation have been hit with hard times. These extreme weather conditions have caused thousands to be displaced and without the necessities. During these times that humanity tends to band together to help one another out.

With Dickinson Fleet having 3 locations in the Florida area, we were certainly impacted by Irma. At the same time, we wanted to work as a team to make a small contribution for those who were hit much harder than we were. So, we sent the crew out to Sam’s Club to pick up some of the essentials to send to those who were hit by Hurricane Irma.  Additionally, the kind folks at Nestle chipped in with a significant donation of bottled water to add to our delivery.

The donation was dropped off at the News Channel 8 donation center to go to families in need located throughout the Tampa Bay Area.

This was a very bright ending to a week that was certainly tough for many, many people.  We’re proud of all members of the Dickinson Fleet Services team who stepped up to help those in need.  Our company is all about encouraging this type of selfless behavior and we’re glad it’s showing in the culture throughout all of our locations.
