Technicians are the foundation of what we do. They keep the world moving. Without them, we’re stuck on the side of the road. FleeTec® Academy, powered by Cox Automotive, is an intensive, hands-on, in-residence training program designed to teach truck maintenance and repair skills from the ground up, providing you the tools needed for success, and to support you at every level of your career. There is no experience required to get started on your road to earning your first (of many) Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications with training and support from some of the trucking industry’s brightest minds and most respected professional instructors.

Qualified students receive all-expenses paid travel to FleeTec’s training facilities located in Phoenix, AZ and Indianapolis, IN to immerse in a 4-week accelerated academic environment alongside equally ambitious candidates. FleeTec’s success is determined only by the success of its graduating students. That’s why it was built with an unconventionally high instructor to student ratio. Not just a classroom, FleeTec teaches practical application in a mechanical shop environment plus the interpersonal skills required to set yourself apart from the rest and drive your career to the next level.

You’ll learn all the ins and outs of Cox Automotive’s industry-leading tools and techniques, including our unmatched safety procedures. The program requires a two-year commitment to Cox upon completion, a guaranteed tech position where you’ll continue to receive mentorship and learn even more valuable industry skills.
