As Chief People Officer for Cox Automotive, Michele Parks oversees the development of a high-performance culture and talent management program. She also promotes career opportunities and policies that advocate diversity, inclusion and equity.
Previously, Parks served as the senior vice president of HR Service Delivery for Cox Communications overseeing the Human Resource Business Partners and the HR Shared Services (Employee Service Center) organization.
Prior to joining the Cox family, Parks worked in the telecommunications and hospitality industries in a variety of HR leadership roles with increasing responsibilities.
Parks is a member of Women in Cable and Telecommunications (WICT) and of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). She earned a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Master of Science from Rochester Institute of Technology and certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
