11 countries, 5 continents

Over a 25-year period (1983–2008), Manheim expands its operations beyond the U.S. to 10 international markets, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Italy, New Zealand, Portugal, Spain, Thailand, Turkey and the U.K.

Australia, Canada and U.K. operations established

From 2015 to 2017, Cox Automotive Canada, Cox Automotive U.K. and Cox Automotive Australia / New Zealand are established, with multiple Cox Automotive brands spanning various aspects of the automotive marketplace operating in each of these three core markets.

COX AUTOMOTIVE INVESTS IN MAJOR EMERGING MARKETS

Strategic investments in China, India and Brazil

Starting in 2014, Cox Automotive initiates a series of strategic investments in major automotive markets around the globe, resulting in joint ventures such as Jingzhengu (a used car valuation platform in China covering 50+ cities), acquisitions like Molicar (a leader in vehicle valuations for Brazil’s business sector) and investments in industry heavyweights like Mahindra FirstChoice (one of India’s largest retailers of used cars).

REIMAGINING OUR POWERHOUSE MEDIA BRANDS FOR INTERNATIONAL MARKETS

Kelley Blue Book launches outside U.S.

Kelley Blue Book, the most influential and useful third-party automotive site in the U.S., begins operations in Portugal and Brazil in 2017 with an entirely new global valuation engine and re-envisioned consumer site.
