On May 9, the Cox Automotive Impact Summit: EV and AI was held in Detroit, attracting two dozen local media and influencers. The two 45-minute panel discussions and a Q&A focused on two of the industry’s most important topics today and showcased how Cox Automotive is leading change in both areas.

Session 1: EVs

Following opening remarks from Cox Automotive President Steve Rowley, recently retired Executive Analyst Michelle Krebs welcomed Stephen Smith, vice president of Product and Engineering, Lea Malloy, associate vice president of EV Battery Solutions, and Stephanie Valdez Streaty, director of Industry Insights, for a broad discussion on the electric vehicle market and major investments Cox Automotive is making to become the industry’s leader in EV battery lifecycle management.

Session 2: AI

Executive Analyst Erin Keating is joined by Chief Product Officer Marianne Johnson, Jessica Stafford, senior vice president of Consumer Solutions, and Brad Burns, associate vice president of Vehicle Information, for a discussion on how AI is dramatically shifting both the retail and wholesale marketplaces, and why artificial intelligence in the automotive space should be embraced, not feared.
